• I’m using WP-Cache 2.0.22 and WordPress 2.0.2.

I’ve tried everything that is on this forum, and this is the link with what it looks like where my problem is:
    https://www.maxpower.ca/how-to-configure-wp-cache-to-abate-the-digg-effect/2006/03/08/
It’s probably the file permissions. Change them then, you would think, right?

Well, I can’t change the file permission of the symbolic link ‘advanced-cache.php’ in the wp-content folder to 777 or even 775. It stays stuck on 755. When i change it and view it again it’s back on 755, whatever kinda values I’ve put in it in the first place.
I think this is the reason WP-Cache doesn’t cache for me some reason. The file permission 755 never worked good for me (must be server setting) when installing something etc., it has to be 775 or 777.
Now if I knew how to create this symbolic link (WP-Cache auto install did this) I could create a new one with the right file permissions, but I haven’t got a clue how to do this.

So my question is – How can I change the file permissions of the symbolic link file?

I’ve just upgraded to 2.0.7 and its still not solved.
I’m not updating to 2.1 yet i see alot of support topics about the new version and i just tweaked my blog to perfection, dont wanna lose that ??

So anyone with the same problem?

If you peek into wp-config.php, do you have
    define('WP_CACHE', true); //Added by WP-Cache Manager
    in there somewhere?
