WP, Blog Post – Category problem on side bar

    Hello,

    I have a multilingual WP site using polylang (3 languages English, Simple CHinese, Trad Chinese).

    The “Categories” side bar on a Post page is working for English (choose “branding” category and it pulls up 4 posts)

    However the same is not working for Simple and Traditional Chinese (pulls up no posts, even though there are 4 each).

    I tried deactivating all the plugins (except Polylang) and I still have this problem.

    Polylang works ok everywhere else (even the other sidebar items).

    I am using Divi too.

    After much testing (deactivate plugins, removing most pages, taking out languages), it seems like we solved the problem, without really understanding the cause.

    We simply deleted all of the “categories” (not the posts) for Trad Chinese and Simplified Chinese, and then added them back in. It just started working after that.
