  • I have upgraded to the latest version but always have this error message at the top of the admin page:

    WP Bitly is almost ready! Please visit the settings page to configure WP Bitly

    I have visited the settings page but cannot see what needs to be configured.

    The plugin is working OK but the error message is annoying.

    Please help.

  • That would be annoying. A little less because hopefully you’re only seeing it on the plugins page (it was intended to be less intrusive than a dashboard wide message)?

    There’s a strong chance I haven’t updated the meta it’s looking for since I brought the authentication up to date with Bitly’s API. I’ll look into this as soon as I can and should have a fix with the next release.
