WP-Bannerize: changed domain name, WP-B still remembers the old one

  • hi – i changed the active domain name on my client’s site and everything is working except WP-Bannerize. it is still trying to call the ads using a path that includes the old domain name.

    not sure what to fix here – but i need those ads to show! any ideas?

    hi gf! i went ahead and just manually changed the ads, adding exact copies and deleting the old ones with the bad links. that seemed like the best way to handle it.

    i did an export of the entire site database and opened it up; i could see that wp-bannerize had encoded the entire path to the ad image, rather than just a relative path. that seemed to be the source of the problem for me.

    so, i simply (well, it did take 2 hours, hah) redid all the ads, and now they are working fine.

    i love the product, and the only thing i would like to add is on/off dates (for the ad to appear within a set of dates). otherwise, it’s absolutely awesome! thank you for responding, and for your hard work on this important plugin, gf.
