WP Ban Russian Federation

    Our church site has been under attack for IP’s in the Russian Federation for a while now. I installed the WP Ban plug in with little success in at least slowing down the attempts. It is constantly jacking up our stats. I have blocked IP addresses and URL’s at no avail. It can be anywhere from 60 to over 900 attempts a day and I’m like REALLY. We are a small church, less than 50 people. Why? Any help in moving closer to better solution will be appreciated.

    Let me clarify. The IP addresses that I have blocked seem to be blocked. However there are so many I can’t possibly get them all, there are just to many. Can I block everything from the Russian Republic?

    Thanks Paul…Not sure if I know how or where exactly to put all those IP’s as I am not real good with coding. I recently purchased WordFence and that has slowed down the unwanted traffic a good bit. At least my stats are not as jacked up. Now I have to filter out all the junk from the U.S. that keeps banging on the site. I fear there is not real answer but this will do I guess.
