    Hi,

I have a large number of blog posts in this blog. Approx. more than 1,900 posts available.

I have noticed an issue related with WP back-end post filter options yesterday.

If I filter posts from a category, WordPress back-end filter view not working properly.

For an example, If I filter some category, Let’s say
    Total posts count = 41
Number of items per page set = 10

So the pages should display as:
    1st page = 10 posts
    2nd page = 10 posts
    3rd page = 10 posts
    4th page = 10 posts
    5th page = 1 post

But in my blog, pages display as:
    1st page = 12 posts
    2nd page = 12 posts
    3rd page = 12 posts
    4th page = 05 posts
    5th page = 0 post

Please let me know is there any workaround to fix this issue.
    Thank you!

  • Hi,

Can you make sure that there’s no plugin that makes the pages show a different number of posts in the category archive? I tried to replicate this issue on my end but things are working fine, no matter what number I set for the Number of items per page field. Also, have you tried to set 15 posts per page, for example, and see how many posts are displayed per page on the category this time? Maybe there’s a connection between these counting differences that we can identify and see where is coming from.

    Hi Radu,

As you mentioned in your reply, I have deactivated all the plugins. But the issue not fixed. After that I have deactivated the theme and activated Twenty Seventeen. Issue got fixed after theme deactivation. So, the issue relevant with my theme.

    Thank you for your help.
