WP-backend not loading correctly

  • Since a day or 2 the backend of my site just wont load right.
    The Visual Composer plugin does not show and on excisting pages and posts the text just wont even show. In the beginning it would just load realy slow but lately it stopped working at all.

    In my opinion it is the fact that i started to upload alot of posts from a past website whom are all on draft at the moment. This means there are about 200 posts on draft and about 400 posts live. Is this the problem? Or is it something else, and i’d hate to remove all the drafts just to upload them again later on.

    Did you recently update either WordPress or a theme or plugins?

    The amount of posts in a given state is very unlikely to be the cause, more likely something has changed with the code on your site, that has caused things to break. For example 4.5.2 updated jQuery which if you haven’t updated your theme and or Visual Composer these may not be compatible and need updates as well.
