WP as frontend app

I am very new with WP, after I tried the WP, it is very powerful with all those plugin. I have a question and I want to know if WP is really something I am looking for.

I have an application that running with python script and with RDBMS.
The frontend however is desperately need a replacement.

I am looking for a replacement and perhaps WP is the answer.
The feature is to front the user registration, user login then this user has its own data to be presented based on the python app that I have.

Is this something WP can do?
