WP as a FAQ/ Knowledge Base System

  • Would it be possible to customize WP to function as a FAQ/ Knowledge Base System?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the reply, however, it’s not quite what I’m looking for. WP has most of the features required. Nevertheless, the following seems to be missing:

    1. Allow users to enter a “sort key” to control Category/ Post display order. This will allow users to create ‘book-style’ sites – whereby directories and posts are displayed in logical order.

    2. Yahoo style directory listings.

    3. Use directory names in URL’s – Example: mysite.com/dir1/subdir11

    Any solutions/ ideas will be highly appreciated.

    I am very interested in what came out of your question. Did you ever end up making a Knowledge Base with WordPress?
