Sorry, I don’t have an idea for now. I can’t reproduce the error either (WP-Appbox doesn’t have code for inline elements either).

Ok. So is there a way I can keep the existing Wp-Appbox blocks intact and deactivate the plugin temporarily?
Because once I disable WP-appbox, the app links disappear along with the box.

I have a staging site. I will see if I can give you an access to it and test it out.
Is there a way I can give you credentials privately?

Please do not ever offer that, even on a test or staging site. If the plugin author accepted that author then they’d get into some real trouble in these forums.

Had the author made that ask (they did not, I am just explaining) this would have been the reply.

I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials. I have flagged your account temporarily. That just means that your post will need to be approved and @ notifications from you will not work.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

You don’t want to have the author risk their plugin here, do you?

    Hi @jdembowski @marcelismus

My apologies, I didn’t know that.

I have been here on these forums for years now and have seen some users and plugin developers get along and exchange credentials privately so they could solve the specific errors. So I thought that was normal.
I didn’t know the policies have changed. Or were never allowed.

When that is find, the plugin developer is literally put on notice. If they don’t correct that behavior then they risk being shown the door.

    *Drinks coffee, so good.*

It does not happen often thank goodness and no one wants that outcome. But it’s not safe and people have gotten into real trouble for that here.

There are many ways to get information an author needs and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Anyone accessing a system that way is a short cut that can get people into real trouble in these forums.

    Nope.

Did you try to disable all plugins and then turn on only one plugin? In the past I was only familiar with such a display in connection with an SEO plugin. Just any plugin that adds boxes to the post.php itself. As I said: The Appbox only accesses the (old) TinyMCE, but not the code of the post.php.

    Hi @marcelismus
So I deactivated every other plugin while keeping only Wp-AppBox. So when I activate either Yoast SEO or Ad-Inserter (only one at a time), the element is still displayed in the middle.
So now I have to settle with Classic Editor and it does not have any problems.
    So thanks to that.
Is there any other information I can give you?
