WP App Will Not Upload Media After Enabling 2FA in Wordfence

    I’ve been using the WordPress app to manage posts on the go for a long time. I recently enabled 2FA on my site, and now I can no longer upload media with my posts. I checked the “Skipped” option for “Require 2FA for XML-RPC call authentication” as instructed in the Login Security section of the Wordfence plugin, but it still does not work. I’ve tried setting this to “Required” and back to “Skipped” with the same results.

    whoah, @mykkal ?? I wouldn’t call this plugin defective. The Wordfence team is awesome. Just listen to their podcast and read their research. I’m using the free version, and I appreciate the value it adds.

    I think we might be onto an issue, and the WF team will eventually find this. I’m willing to help get it resolved. It must not be THAT widespread, or it would be fixed by now.

    I’m going to try to reach out to the WF team on Twitter again and see if anyone might be able to put eyes on this now that there are at least 3 of us here with the same reproducible issue.

    @wfgerald actually…I was just testing this, and it looks like it works now. Do you know if this was a bug addressed by Wordfence or if maybe something else changed with the WP app?
