We have a fully tagged GPS Set of data for 2000 pages, the data gets updated in a Microsoft Access Database and we run a csv import via WP All Impoprt Pro to update fields etc, we dont seem to be able to hook int oyour fields however, do you know if this is possible, or is this a premium option?

    Thanks

    Steve

    Hello @stevegayler,

If you have installed the professional version of the plugin, and you have created an CSV file with the structure described in the following link:

    https://wordpress.dwbooster.com/content-tools/codepeople-post-map#import

you can import the points into the post/pages of your website.

The plugin does not use the GPS coordinates, it uses the latitudes and longitudes generated by Google.

    Best regards.

Hi Sorry, I meant we had Lat Long.

I dont think this will work, as we only have 1 page template that gets populated using Custom Post Types which in turn are populated useing WP All Import.

I cant see any access to your fields within those tools.

Unlike – Advanced Google Maps Plugin for WordPress which has an All Import option.

    Hello @stevegayler,

Using the professional version of our plugin the process is really simply, you only should to create the CSV file with the required columns (only the columns: post_id, latitude and longitude are required) and import it from the settings page of the plugin (you can assign all the points to a same post/page entering the same post_id into every row)

    Best regards.

Thanks, thats sounds worth a go then for $20!

One other thing, idelly we want to try and take people on the tour as the band did it, is there a way of marking a starting point and an end point, and an option to clikc next date, previous date as each concert is in chronological order.

Cheers for you very quick responses!

    Hello,

I’m sorry, but this behavior is specific to your project, a possible solution would be create a new post per day with the points corresponding to the day, and then, assign to each post a custom tag that can be the date, and finally, associate a legend to the map, using this taxonomy as source.

    Best regards.
