    Hi,

I’m using WP All Import with WooCommerce for my WordPress site, so far everything is going well BUT because my CSV file comes from a drop shipper, I need to rewrite the item descriptions and I’m also renaming the stock photos but if I remove the Description Tag, there is no description at all when it has finished uploading.

I start as ‘New Import’ ‘Existing Products’ and ‘WooCommerce Products’

I press ‘Apply’ on Step 2

On page 3 if I remove ‘{description[1]}’ no description at all appears, if I leave it how it is, then the suppliers description overwrites mine.

I’ve tried altering things on page 4 but getting nowhere, can anyone help?

Also I have been watermarking my own images and renaming them for example ‘mothers day gift set’ instead of the default ‘CV_889’ but when I check the product, the watermarked images appears but if I right click on it to save it, it comes up as Save as ‘CV_889’

    Can anyone help please?

    Hi @stanleymog,

On step 4 of the import, or in the “Import Settings” if the import already exists, you can enable the “Choose which data to update” option, and then disable “Content” and “Images” to make sure they’re not updated: https://d.pr/i/vxQfh8.
