WP-All Import -> new Import-> add variations to existing product

    Hi

    Im working on importing variations to our website.

    what we did so far is we created parent products and we do have exce files with all the attribute values for variations. Parrent product has been set as variable product and it has unique SKU.

    I have created one import for one parent product and it worked fine. The second import I have created is not being able to find my parent product which is strange. please see log below.

    Hi @taronsargsyan,

    The main problem I see in the logs is this:

    ERROR: Content, title, and excerpt are empty.

    You have to have data in the title or content to create a new item.

    That said, importing variations is a pro feature, so we’ll need you to contact us with this question here: https://www.wpallimport.com/support/. We can only answer questions about our free plugins on this forum.

    hi,

    becuse we do add the variations to existing product it cant have any content and title etc… looking at my working import example I can see that in working scenario it does find the parent product(see below). in this case it does not.

    becuse we do add the variations to existing product it cant have any content and title etc

    New variations are new products, so they require at least a title. We’d be happy to advise further on this here: https://www.wpallimport.com/support/. I’m marking this thread as resolved since we cannot discuss our pro features in this forum.
