WP All Import

    Hi

    For some reason when using WP All Import to import posts the taxonomy data does not show in WordPress until Redis cache has been flushed.

    We regularly import data daily.

    Any ideas how to solve this? Do we just need to automate flushing the cache after WP All Import runs?

    Would this be an issue with Pro?

    Hi Matt,

    That’s hard to say, it might be an issue with WP All Import and not solved by the Pro version.

    Flushing right after each import might be the easiest solution, if the cold cache doesn’t cause too much trouble.

    Right OK.

    Are you aware of the bug by the way that wipes the additional CSS in customise?

    Hitting “disable object cache” just completely wipes the additional CSS. I tried it a couple of times to test it and it does it every time.

    Is that Jetpack or part of WP core now?

    One caveat to mention is don’t enable/disable the object cache frequently, only flush. If you must enable/disable is, make sure you flush immediately after re-enabling it.

    Right OK Till, I will bare this in mind for the future.

    Does that wipe occur when keeping the object cache enabled and only flushing it?

    No it does seem to be fine then, purely when disable/enable the object cache.

    Yeah, I always run wp redis enable && wp cache flush to avoid this.
