/wp-admin/index.php hangs

I have a rather peculiar problem. Firstly, I can’t retrieve the dashboard-page; the browser simply hangs. It is possible for me to login, but the redirect just stalls.

I can, however, retrieve all the other pages, and change options. I can also, usually, create small posts, but not more than a couple of lines. If I enter more than say 10 lines of text (no links, just text), it stalls (without updating/creating the post).

My ISP has moved the site to another server, which must have caused this behavior. I have upgraded to 2.0.1 without improvement.

No sites are called for updates, when I post; I have disabled these features, but without result.

Any clues are highly appreciated.
