I want to know if www.remarpro.com has an “official” login url. I originally learned to go to mydomain.com/wp-admin, but I’m starting to see mydomain.com/wp-login.php mentioned here and there.

After poking around today on www.remarpro.com (on the home page and on installation pages), I couldn’t find “How to Login” anywhere. Does anybody know where www.remarpro.com actually mentions how to log in?

When I teach clients how to login, I would like to know that I’m consistent with what they might read on www.remarpro.com.

Technically, they both do the same thing.

mydomain.com/wp-admin is a direct link to your Dashboard, but it’ll redirect you to mydomain.com/wp-login.php if you aren’t logged in.

Consequently, mydomain.com/wp-login.php will redirect you to mydomain.com/wp-admin if you are logged in.

Considering that, I usually just recommend mydomain.com/wp-admin to save time.

    I usually just recommend mydomain.com/wp-admin

Same here, it’s shorter since they don’t need to append a .php at end ?? except when Maintenance Mode Plugin is activated, you can only get to the login page via wp-login.php

Thanks James and mercime. That’s two good reasons to stick with wp-admin!
