WP-Admin Site Not Found

  • Hi Everyone,

    I have just signed up to have a domain hosted by HostPapa.
    I’ve Installed WP 3.8 through their on-click installation and I was sent an email with all the dashboard login & access website details. (https://sheadskin.com/wp-admin)

    For some reason when I attempt to go to this address it appears that this site does not exist.

    I have sent a ticket to HostPapa requesting help, however I need to find an answer urgently so I can get this site up and running this weekend.

    Can anyone help me out here, I’m sure this must be some sort of regular problem… Thanks so much in advance.

    First, it can take anything from 24 – 72 hours for DNS/nameserver records to fully propagate. Second, different networks will update at different times during this period. That is, bear in mind that just because one provider has updated their records, it doesn’t mean that another will.

    So ur saying just wait and see…
    I was under the impression that the site had already propagated as my temporary site is no longer available and I can already log into my control panel through the main domain name.
    But ur saying just because I can do all this, the site may yet not be propagated correct??

    check with your host as to how long they think might take

    yeah they said 24-72 hours at signup but still haven’t heard anything from them regarding my ticket enquiry so not sure what they will say yet.

    I’ll give it the full 72hrs and see what happens then.
