• Trying to login to admin dashboard of my site and all of a sudden I’m asked to go through the WordPress 5 minute install, so I do, and I’m taking right back to the same login continually. Anyone know what’s up all of a sudden. Sites have been installed for a year without this requirement.

First thing to try is deactivating all plugins to make sure it’s not a plugin causing the problem. To do this, get to your site’s files via FTP or your hosting account file manager and rename the plugins folder (found inside wp-content) to something else (like “pluginsoff”). This will deactivate all plugins, and if a plugin is causing your issue, you should be able to log in.

If that doesn’t work, try the same thing with themes folder (found in the same wp-content folder). This should force your site to use the default WP theme (like 2014).

If this doesn’t work, then you may have a database corruption. Try the above, then let us know and we can point you toward resources for fixing the db.
