    When I click the link in the Duplicator install process to resave the permalinks it redirects me to my old site. If I navigate directly to mysite.com/wp-admin, it takes me to my old site. If I navigate to mysite.com, it takes me to oldsite.com

    I can navigate to specific page of my new site, where I find that all the menu links are to the old site.

    Is there a certain way I should set the links before I create a package?

    Solved it. Before I created the package I had defined the site url and home page in the wp-config file, and in the functions.php file in my theme.

    When I redefined it to the new site it works.

    A quick note for others reading this thread.

    Starting in version 0.4.2 the final view report will show a Warning if you have values like WP_HOME or WP_SITEURL set in your wp-config file. This way you can pin-point these issues faster…

    Hope that helps!

    I am having the same issue, but had not made the definitions. When I do, it makes no difference.

    Hey skstarkiller,

    It can also be related to other issues…

    Here is a helpful section on the FAQs page:
    -> Browse To: https://lifeinthegrid.com/duplicator-faq/
    -> Find Section: “2 Installer”
    -> See Area/Question: “Everything installed but I keep getting redirected to another URL or 404 errors.”

    Hope that helps!

    It did. Thanks!

    Sounds good! Thanks for the update.
