WP-Admin redirect timeout

I have been trying to get the redirect for this working for quite some time now over a few different versions of WordPress.

I believe since 4.4.3 I have not been able to access the login page on any fresh installs of WordPress.

I have reinstalled WordPress using Softaculous and manually installing WordPress via ftp with no luck.

I can manually go to the login page if I type the web address followed by either /login or wp-login.php but after entering credentials it times out trying to redirect to /wp-admin to get into the dashboard.

The same error occurs when I login and then go back to the regular website and try to click the dashboard link that I now have in the admin bar.

However if I click themes instead of dashboard it will open the dashboard themes section without issue. I can then click dashboard in the dashboard menu and it will correctly open the correct dashboard link.

I am sure there is something missing to direct me to the correct location within the admin area within the WordPress framework but I honestly did not feel that I should need to modify something in there to fix the issue. Does anyone have an easier solution than manually editing files in the WordPress install to get this error corrected?
