wp-admin redirect loop after switching hosts

I’m trying to switch a domain (mrmceachern.com) registered and hosted with https://www.wordpress.com to a new host (namecheap). I’ve pointed the domain name servers on wordpress.com to the new host (namecheap) and i’ve added the domain (mrmceachern.com) as an addon domain using cPanel. I have also download wordpress using softaculous in cPanel.

So I can access my website (mrmceachern.com), but I am unable to access the dashboard with the url: mrmceachern.com/wp-admin. I can still access the dashboard by loging into wordpress.com, but the whole purpose to switch hosting from wordpress.com was to be able to use plugins and import themes from 3rd party websites.

Whenever I try to access mrmceachern.com/wp-admin I receive a message saying:
“mrmceachern.com redirected you too many times”. (I’m using Google Chrome)

Can anyone help me out with this? It’s driving me crazy!
