  • Hi ruiphoto,

Did you try to make a new user with administration rights and log in what that new account? Maybe it helps.

    Hey siebold01,

thank you very much for your reply.
Since the admin page is not working at all. I can’t even login, which means I am not able to make a new user. I hope this is what you mean…
    Best,

    Alright,

That makes sense. Maybe it has something to do with rights than. Can you check it in Filezilla and change it.

Please do not create duplicate topics, they get deleted when found.

It may be a plugin issue. Please try the following temporary steps to troubleshoot:

    1. Using FTP or whatever file management tools your host has provided you with navigate to the wp-content directory.
    2. Once there locate and rename the plugins directory to plugins-old. Do not deleted that directory just rename it.
    3. Try and re-login to your WordPress dashboard.

Are you still unable to login after that?

    good luck, than.

Awesome, Jan Dembowski! Thank you so much!
I am able to login now. But the whole web site seems to be gone…

Is it ok to rename the plugins directory to “plugin” again and hopefully get it all right again?

Jan Dembowski, I have deleted the plug in, which I thought was causing it from the server and all came back to normal.

Again, thank you very much. It was really helpful.

    You’re welcome.

I have similar problems and I have renamed plugin directory. But unable to install new plugins. It says couldn’t create the directory.
