• I’m in the process of transferring my blog from blogger to wordpress. I already have a domain through google apps, and I recently set up hosting through GoDaddy. I installed the wordpress app on GoDaddy last night but when I try to login at https://www.foodwhine.com/wp-admin it says Sorry, the page you were looking for in this blog does not exist.

  • i have the same issue

Your site at foodwhine.com is still pointing to Blogger. You need to log in to your GoDaddy account and change the nameservers from Custom to GoDaddy’s own servers (Standard).

I did that already last night. Does it take time for it to change over to the host nameservers?

It can take up to 72 hours apparently.

I think you forgot to change the www (CNAME) part of your site. I can see your wp installing when I got to foodwhine.com/wp-admin but https://www.foodwhine.com still points me to blogger. A simple dig also confirms that. So, its either a CNAME config problem or its just taking longer than expected, in which case you can just wait. I’d suggest checking out the godaddy dns control panel.

In the godaddy dns panel I had directed the www to blogger to prevent downtime while I transfer to wordpress. Is that what’s causing the problem?

    Could be!

Make sure redirection is disabled and the nameservers are set to standard.
