wp-admin not working after update 2.3.1

hmmmm….. I have access to the server and use WinSCP, maybe those files are hidden from me. I’ll see if I can get them another way.

I got a little furthar, seems there was some issue with the ignight gift certificate plug in. now WooCommerce will load and give the error below. going back to 2.1.* until I can gather more guidence?

Well now we’re back to blank screen. I’ll keep at it.

If you get any include_once errors again, the plugin is not being uploaded fully.

You asked about logs earlier – there may be a error_log file in your site root, otherwise check with your hosting provider.

Yes I got the error logs Mike, that’s how I found out about the plug-in issue. this is what showed when I updated. I removede the gift cert plug-in and then at least got a screen. the others I didn’t touch. back to 2.1.* and I don’t get these specific errors.

Each one of those plugins logged either need updating or removing. Some are only notices, but I don’t know how that will affect other things.

I removed all the plug-ins above, raised the memory (just in case), re-installed WP and still get that white screen. gonna stick with the 2.1.* for now and hope in the future whatever this is can be discovered. Again thank you for the guidance.

WooCommerce automatically updated. (Forgot to disable that feature) my theme’s templates aren’t compatible with the update. Is there a step by step process for reverting back to 2.2.11?

It seems like there is two ways. Maybe I’m just a nub.

I am new to Woo Commerce and I am happy with the site but not happy with the lack of customization of the product description or SEO set up. Can I add more customization to the product description ( break up in categories on same page)? Is there a way to add yeost SEO to my woo commerce.

I hit this problem when I updated to WC 2.3.x today with my own plugin.

It is being triggered in a loop of mine that is using a custom query.

The error is triggered on the get_the_title() code.

I’ve replaced it with

$pzarc_return[ $bpid ] = $blueprints_query->post->post_title;

and the error has gone away, but then of course, I aren’t getting to pass the title thru the title filter. If I do so myself in code, it brings back the error.

I also tried get_the_content, and get_the_excerpt which as expected returned empty strings; however, get_the_id and get_the_date returned false.

I hope there’s some clues there.

I tried to upgrade today as well and got the white screen ??
