wp-admin not opening

  • Hi everyone ,
    would like to know if you face this issue of a white screen appearing when you try to open wp-admin.
    I tried to fix it with removing the space at end of functions.php but that doesnt work too.. i am using the avada theme. please help !!

    Please try disabling all plugins from FTP and see if it makes things any better. Hope it helps.

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    I am lost. I was working on the site, stopped for a week, went back to log on and my admin page shows up with my photo. I can’t find where the link would be to access the site!!!! I’ve done the wp-admin also the login extensions and nothing just the welcome page.

    I can access both your https://mosaicfamilymag.com/wp-login.php and https://mosaicfamilymag.com/wp-admin/ from here.

    @suyogya Shukla it didnt work , i renamed the plugins folder to plugins.deactivate and i still get the white screen

    what is the last thing you do before you get the white screen..
    do you modify or add something to your functions.php file?

    Every 5 days i am experiencing the same kind of problem, today i have got this message :

    Warning: require(/home4/ashish06/public_html/www.alternativetoursindia.com/wp-includes/post.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home4/ashish06/public_html/www.alternativetoursindia.com/wp-settings.php on line 142

    Can somebody tell me how to overcome this…
