wp-admin login problem

  • can’t log in to wp-admin. I get the following error msg: The server was not able to find the document (./frontend/x3/index.html/wp-login.php) you requested. I had accidentally put this in as URL in general settings. I don’t know how to fix it.

  • Uninstall/reinstall wordpress seems like the easiest sure-fire fix.

    set up a host gater account and installed WP. Never received a confirmation email with my WP login and password for the admin page. tried to uninstall and reinstall multiple times and no email. am i doing something wrong?!
