wp-admin login error

    Hello, I am hoping to get some help with a subdomain that I cannot login to.

    When I go to the “…site/wp-admin” and type in my password it then asks me for my authorization code from my app. I type that in, but then it goes back to the screen where it asks for my password, then back to the authorization code, then back to the password etc etc. it is a never ending cycle.

    I contacted GoDaddy and they told me that it was an issue related to my files and that they couldn’t help. I was able to log in a couple weeks ago though and no files have been added, changed or removed since then.

    Any help would be appreciated!`

    What plugin do you use to use two-factor authentication via the app?

    Microsoft Authenticator are the name of your app. But which WordPress-Plugin do you use for it?

    Oh I apologize! It’s called WP 2FA – Two-factor authentication for WordPress by WP White Security.

    Thanks for the link! One thing to add though, I had GoDaddy disable all of my plugins and try to login and the same cycle was happening but instead of the 2 factor authentication code request, it was just asking for my password over and over which makes me think it’s not actually the plugin. Because I also have this same plugin on all of my other domains and am able to login fine.

    That being said, I will contact their support regardless!
