wp-admin is displaying page not found

  • i dont understand this why this happening i have never seen a prb like this before,,, someone can help me if then please reply this is the link which is displaying goldengirlcosmetics.com
    i have update the .htaccess but still i did nt even upgrade the version,
    i doubt the some hacker did this…how can i resolve this how can i protect my wp-admin n if i protect my wp-admin but the hacker hack the domain hosting service provider ‘s system n there they can find our data domain ‘s cpanel info so how can i protect my wordpress…..????????????????

    I’m currently having the same problem with Host Gator. They said there is a worldwide brute force attack happening right now and everyone is working on a solution. Seems pretty bad…

    this is what my domain hosting company said,,,
    We experienced a global attack which was targetted to the WordPress script wp-login.php. The attack affected all servers and in order to get it filtered we had to block all requests to files with name wp-login.php. We will need to keep that script blocked until the attack has stopped. We would suggest you to secure your wp-login.php with .htaccess by adding the following to it.

    <Files wp-login.php>
    Order Deny,Allow
    Deny from all
    Allow from 11.11.11.11
    </Files>

    Please note you need to replace 11.11.11.11 with your IP address so that you can access wp-login.php
