WP Admin Find Page or Post by Full URL

  • I use a third party service to find broken links on a website. Is there a way in the WP Admin area to find the exact URL of a page or post (maybe a search field that I can paste the absolute URL from the checker into)? I would like to directly jump to editing the page/post and fix the broken link in question.

    Here’s a much easier approach:

    Since you have the URL with broken links, simply put it in your browser to open the page while you’re already logged in to your WordPress dashboard. You should see the “Edit Page” link at the top (if you’ve not disabled the admin par). Clicking this will open the page directly in the editor for you to edit it.
