wp-admin error after update

Hi- I had not updated my site in few months and tried to upgrade about a week ago and now my public site still works but can’t access wp-admin. Cleared cookies and cache and still no avail. Error code in browser is 500.

Without access to admin I don’t know how to tell you what version WP I am running.
