wp-admin displays as file list

    I have one WordPress install which is displaying the wp-admin directory as a file list. Other install point correctly to the login page or dashboard. I tried replaced the the directory, however the problem persists. Why would that be?

    Try adding:

    DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.htm

    to the top of your root WP .htaccess file.

    Thanks! I just remembered I have splash page as the homepage outside WP for this site. This must be the problem.
