WP Admin dashboard not showing all options

Are you logging in as an administrator? Sounds like you’re not.

Via PHPMYADMIN, look yourself up in wp_users. What role(s) do you have? What was the plugin you installed then removed? And how did you remove it?

I forgot what was the name of the plugin but I removed it from public_html and deleted the file from wp_plugins

That’s the name. What is the role? Sorry, that’s in the wp_usermeta table.

An admin user will have “user_capabilities” set to
a:1:{s:13:"administrator";b:1;}

Not as far as I know. Did you modify anything about roles, capabilities, or users while it was active?

No I didn’t. I just deleted the plug-in

Does that user see what an admin should see?

I did all the steps indicated, but it won’t let me log in with my new user. I tried logging again with my old user (default account) and it works just fine

So do you have any admin access yet?

The new user no, but the default user supposedly it does
