    Hello,

in my backend logging constantly appears this entry
/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php and that people try to access it from the backend.
I have locked my site for various country zones, the backend can only be accessed from my home country.
Can anyone tell me why this /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php entry keeps showing up in the backend logging?

    Hi,

On the home tab select the option where it says “Don’t block admin-ajax.php” if you want to unblock it.

    Hello,

The question is, why is the admin-ajax.php called in the backend, by the visitors? is this “normal”?

In most cases that is caused by using a plugin that interacts with that admin-ajax.php file.

But we’ve also seen random access to that file without any need, for what we don’t know so you’ve got the option to block it or not.
