• Hi,

Wordpress automatically update a website of mine, after that it’s impossible to access back office /wp-admin

    So i tried everything i know :

    • rename plugin folder
    • desactivate plugin from sql database
    • change theme to wp default one from qsl, via phpmyadmin
    • add new admin user via phpmyadmin
    • update php 5.6 to 7.2

The modifications are all ok, except i still could not access to back office /wp-admin

I don’t know what to do next.

I search on several forum, a lot of people have the same issue, and for now, nobody find a solution ??

What error do you see? A white screen or something else?

No specific error, i couldn’t access to user panel so impossible to edit name, username, email, password.
Access to back office is blocked (no link form the top bar menu) and when i tried to access directly /wp-admin i have the “Sorry, You Are Not Allowed to Access This Page” page.

    Try going to /wp-login.php instead

But that error sounds like a plugin gone rogue. Do you have any security plugins installed?

Same issue, i’m connected but i’m redirect to homepage and not the user panel.

About plugins, as said, i tried to desactivate all of them, problem still here.

    Hi,

Checking forum and saw this – I have the same error on my site.

I did the same fixes listed above and nothing works. I did run maint/repair.php and it spit out a small list of DB errors.

Same exact issues. I ultimately had to restore to previous backup which rolled back to WP 4.9.9.

Still no solution, i put a backup, it was ok, however wordpress did again the automatic update, and i have the issue which come back.

    I don’t know what i must do now …
