wp-admin 404 page not found

try deactivate your plugins

*since you mentioned your site was hacked, i suggest you to check with your hosting provider

thanks for the suggestion, I changed /plugins folder to /plugins-hold
then got 404, before that page of site would come up with nothing …no content just designed page only ….I shall call host, I hope they can help

I called the host they said this….Taylor: [7:57:09 PM] WordPress database error You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ”home’ at line 1 for query SELECT ID FROM wp_posts WHERE post_name = ‘home made by require, require_once, include
[7:57:14 PM] thats the error popping up.
[7:57:23 PM] either a plugin or theme went bad

I disabled both plugins and themes and stil same error…. have you ever seen this before??

I would greatly appreciate any ideas you may have.

just in case anyone comes across this post, here is an update on what I am dong… using https://www.websitedefender.com its working great ….it found two instances of hacker code, which I removed. Still trying to fix thigns up but thats a great tool. I need to update things too, word press and plugins. Hopefully that will help too.
