I installed the Cerber Plugin yesterday on 2 Websites. Today I want to login but get a 404 when try to enter “wp-admin” or “wp-login” (on both websites). I have not activated the option to rename the login. Any idea?

I could use “wp-cerber-reset.zip” but I just want to know what went wrong, otherwise I can’t use the plugin because I need safety not unsafety.

I am 101% sure I NOT activated the option to rename the login.

This was a nightmare. I managed to uninstall the plugin on both sites, problem solved.

    Hi ps3hero!

Most likely you checked Block direct access to wp-login.php and return HTTP 404 Not Found Error.
To deactivate the plugin you could just remove the plugin folder by using FTP client or hosting control panel any kind, usually provided by hosting provider.
