I am using Woocommerce with Registration Magic. I have an RM form with payment options configured (paypal and offline) with a single product field. When a new user registers as part of filling out the form and submits, they are not actually registered with WP (although they are listed in the users table). When I try to log into my customer account using the woocomerce login screen, it routes me to a default WP login screen and says “ERROR: Your account is not active yet.” If I un-configure payments options so they aren’t in my form, when the customer submits the form then tries to log in to their account it works as expected.

I have already submitted a support ticket but haven’t even received a default reply.

Just figured out that there is a User Manager tab under RegistrationMagic and it’s showing the customers who registered while payment was configured as Deactivated. If I manually activate them then they can log in. WHY is it doing this??? I have all “automatic log-in/register” type options checked. This is apparently a bug.

    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us.

The issue you have highlighted is not a bug. PayPal’s lag in response for payment approval is the actual reason behind the scenes.

Allow me to explain that the problem may occur when customer registers with payment yet to be approved by PayPal. Thus, the user is not allowed to be activated, till payment status is changed to confirmed. The workflow has been implemented intentionally to allow you to control the registered users whose financial transactions are still pending.

Feel free to write back if you still have any questions or concerns regarding this.

    Thank you.
