WP Accessibility Plugin breaks function open in new tab

    When I activate Plugin WP Accessibility, then all links of files to open in new tab/window I set are not working anymore, they open all in dame window. When I deactivate it, it works fine. Thank you for your help to fix this. I already tried with all kind of different themes, also the basic WP themes, still not working properly.

    WP Accessibility removes the ‘target’ attribute from links to prevent links from triggering a new tab. This is an option, however, and can be disabled. If you disable it, just make sure that the text of links that open in new tabs states that fact clearly.
