WP 5.0 Auto-Update – Site Content disappeared

    One day my blog was working fine, the next I received an email about an auto-update to WordPress 5.0, and the blog stopped working. Now all that is displaying is the index.php file. I cannot access the site admin, nor any of the other menus.

    The content is still in the database, but is not being displayed, or showing up in WP Admin.

    I have tried disabling all plugins, but this made no difference.

    I don’t understand technical language or script – and need help finding where my blog has gone and fixing it.

    Any help is readily appreciated.
