I don’t think this is caused by 4.2 but a timing issue on your server. Can you reinstall the plugins and try again?

Exactly how are you trying to delete them? Check the box, pick delete from the drop down?

Walk us through exactly what you did ?? there are a few ways to delete.

    OK repeated the problem.
    1. Install a new WP4.2 RC1 (I installed locally so https://localhost host)
    2. Select UK language
    3. Select database & so on
    4. Login into WP
    5. Delete Akismet by push the button “Delete” (error occurs)

I tested another time and occurs again but in this sequence:
    5. Delete Akismet by push the button “Delete” (no error)
    6. Delete Hello Dolly by push the button “Delete” (error occurs)

    Hi,

Are you still seeing this problem? I just tested on my own setup which is similar to yours with the latest RC4 and am not seeing this occur.

Since we dropped 4.2 and no one else has reported this, I’m marking this resolved. If you have the problem on 4.2, please post in the normal help sections of the forums.

I have update to WP 4.2
After updated all the plugins with massive actions now this bug BLOCKS me ??
Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.
If you need I can send you the Teamviewer credentials (is a localhost installation)

Solved alone renaming the .maintenance to _.maintenance
I suppose that in some case the .maintenance is not unlinked
    The file _.maintenance content is
    <?php $upgrading = 1429887706; ?>

Hope nobody will have my same problem.
    Bye, Alex.
