wp 4.1b1 A multi language post

  • I’m using wp 4.1b1 with Twenty Fifteen.
    I simply want to make a post with inside few words in chinese and/or japanese like in

    The url is correct but the word in the title and in the body is incorrect.

    I’ve read (but I’ve not understood if it can help me) that wp 4.1b1 has

    This isn’t actually an alpha/beta question, but if you’re not technical (as you’ve said many times), you may not want to be using the alpha/beta version of WordPress. This is meant to be used by people who are willing to test and debug, not regular users.

    I’m an old tech (old unix, perl, … not php, css, wp, …).
    I like to try to know the news and I like to install alpha/beta.
    I think I’m important to you because one of the bigger problem of wordpress is that it is not for not tech person.
    It’s a worderful tool but too tech.
    Language is also a big limit and I hope that 4.1b1 can start to solve it.
    Another my problem is my poor English. It’s not simple to me to understand to tech english.
    I know, this is my problem but this is also the problem of more than 50% of world.

    Messing around with alphas and betas when you’re not already used to a system is wasteful of your own time (as well as ours), because we have to spend time debugging something that turns out just to be you not really understanding WP quite yet.

    There’s not a thing wrong with not knowing THIS stuff yet, it’s just… You’re intentionally starting in a VERY hard place, and I really wonder if that’s wise. If it’s because you find it the best way for you to learn, then I would kind of expect you to be more hands-on and experimenting :/ Beta’s aren’t for newbies in any world.

    The translations that are installed by WP are for core. Not for your themes, plugins, or content. (Well… kind of themes and plugins, but not yet, and that’s not relevant here).

    In your wp-config.php, what is DB_CHARSET set to?

    I am able to paste in Kanji content on my site without issues, while still using English as my primary language. No language packs are needed.

    It was a db conversion.
