wp 4.8.1 Hoot Ubix theme Issues

  • Hello I recently installed the hoot ubix theme but i am having the follwing issues:
    1. Two home pages – although I deleted the theme page and created a new one
    2. Front page widget area A (hoot content block – pages is displaying the entire content instead of an excerpt)
    3. Extra Top bar space – A Space appears at the top of my pages

    Please help – not IT tech savvy please use layman terms as much as you can.
