WP 4.7 giving wrong permalink to the plugin

This issue has been reported elsewhere, and WP is working on a fix. 4.7 is counting comment pages from the wrong end (not the technical term, but I don’t understand computer code). On a site with many pages of comments on each post, the reader is taken to the oldest page of comments right after hitting the submit comment button. And Subscribe to Comments Reloaded is sending replied-to-your-comment emails with an incorrect link, which leads to the oldest comment page. No reply needed, just a heads-up in case someone else encounters the problem. There’s nothing wrong with the plugin.
