WP 3.9.1 HTML to text editor then corrupted on publish

  • For several years we have posted a weekly blog (newsletter) on our website (stpaulsps.org) by generating it using iContact’s editor and exporting the HTML from iContact into the text editor on our WordPress site.? Since updating our site to WP 3.9.1, the published content is corrupted, even though switching to the visual editor shows the content to be correctly displayed.? The corruption consists of deletion of “fill” or blank paragraphs, blank tables used for fill, and character strings of blank characters (spaces).

  • Your theme seems to be Light of Peace version 1.1. The current version is 2.2. That’s a lot of progress and bug fixes. Consider updating but take a back up first.

    Sadly there is no guarantee that it will fix the problem but its a place to start.
