    Hi everybody,
after experiencing quite a few errors with the automatic updating to 3.7.1 I finally solved most of them by uploading the files to my website over the existing installation.

This fixed most of the issues and now my site is mostly usable.
However there are still some things not working.

For example I notice in the dashboard that my theme is set to TwentyTwelve; but it’s not.

If I try to navigate to wp-admin/themes.php
I get a 500 Internal Server Error message.

I have tried to remove all the themes from my site leaving only twentytwelve. When I do like this I am able to display a wp-admin/themes.php page, however as soon as I upload a theme the error message returns.

Also, the pages wp-admin/update-core.php and wp-admin/theme-install.php don’t work.

Is there an easy way to fix this? Would you recommend saving the content and importing it on a fresh install?

Thanks in advance for the help and advices,

    Cheers,
    Luca

Try to replace wp-admin from a fresh download of WordPress. Do not overwrite but delete all files in that folder before uploading fresh copies.

    Backup your site first.

    Hi Krishna,
after dealing with my host provider it turned out that the issue
is the version of php required by wordpress 3.7.

I had version 5.2 while 5.3 is required. They performed the upgrade and now everything seem to be working correctly.

Thanks for your help and time!

    Cheers,
    Luca
