wp 3.7 remove /category/ but don't add a slash

  • My website has this permalink structure:

    /%category%/%postname%/

    I installed WP NO CATEGORY BASE and I activate it.

    The problem is that it don’t convert very well the URLs: For example:

    mysite.it/category/personalcategory
    become

    mysite.itpersonalcategory
    So the url is not valid….because the slash is not present:

    mysite.it/personalcategory
    What is wrong? I have WP3.7. Thanks a lot.
