WP 3.4.2 – Pages & Posts do NOT display

    After installing new version 3.4.2 all posts and pages disapeared, vanished! Only the posts excerpts show up in the landing page which is right.

    Already done:
    1- reinstall, from a fresh download al pages and posts except the wp-content folder;
    2- changed theme fos simpler one;
    3- assess some php codes (may have skiped some for non related;
    4- in a separated server folder I installed the complete version and my current theme and it worked fine;

    Actions 1, 2 and 3 were useless. 4 proved that the problem is related to the content.

    Any help may will be appreciated.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Ok. Will deactivate all plugins to check right away;

      Have already re-upload all files & folders, except the wp-content folder, from a fresh download of WordPress;
      Already switched to Twenty Eleven;

    seems any plugin conflict to me, try disabling all plugin if that not solve the problem, have a look at your theme loop and check code around

    Thanks esmi.

    1. Exclude all inactived plugins;
    2. Inactivate all active plugins. Problem disapeared.;
    3. Re-activate plugins, one by one, testing the result. After all of them re-activated the problem has gone!

    Took advantage to remove some that, though activated, were of no use.
