• Hey everyone hows it going?! Well after 3.2 Its been really slow on my server, and even after updating the files manually its still horribly slow. Seems that the problem I’m having isnt a JSON issue as stated.

Im not sure what kind of data would be needed to help figure this out?

Let me know and hopefully can come up with a reason as to the issues and if anyone else is still having the same problem. Thanks!

    Hi all !

I seem to have resolved my issue with the slow admin on multisite admin.

It seems to timeout on requesting the upgrade process.

What I did is to browse myself to the upgrade page and do the requested actions.

Now, the admin seems to be at is “normal speed”.

Try to log to this page (being logged as admin) :

    https://yoursite/wp-admin/upgrade.php?step=1

Click on the “Update Database” button, and voilà ! (well, it worked for me (twice), I hope it will work for you too !)

WORDPRESS performing badly on upgrade to 3.2.1 and PHP 5.2.13

3.2.1 requires PHP version 5.2.4 as a minimum. This causes the sluggish behaviour of page loads. When I reinstall 2.9.2 of wordpress with PHP version 5.2.13 it loads the pages really slow. Solution is to change to PHP version 4.4.9 and WordPress 2.9.2. I am using IIS 7.5 by the way in case this is am issue.

Do NOT use the auto upgrade feature for WordPress or plug-ins or themes on GD shared hosting – it fails! This will mess your site up big time and GD will NOT help. Manually update and make sure you do it right!

After searching and searching, leup figured it out.
This worked very well for me:
“Try to log to this page (being logged as admin) :

    https://yoursite/wp-admin/upgrade.php?step=1

Click on the “Update Database” button, and voilà ! (well, it worked for me (twice), I hope it will work for you too !) “

    Props to Leup!!
