• Well as the topic states, the administration area keeps failing to load any jQuery.

Ive disabled, deleted all plugins, reverted to original theme, used every browser possible in all compatibly modes.

This happened right after the upgrade then some how fixed it self until last night, when now all of a sudden its started again.

Countless hours of searching for a fix is turning up nothing.

Whats the go? from what i can see hundreds of people are facing this problem and there seems to be no Active help.

Sorry if this sounds brutal but its very important that we can publish and edit articles.

    Errors from chrome:

    load-scripts.php:16Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier
index.php:76Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
load-scripts.php:1Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
transparent.pngFailed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

Same or simalar error for all browsers, confirmed its not just the pc im using.

Also doesn’t work on any mobile browsers

Same over here. In addition to the missing add new post window, the admin bar isn’t displayed properly (instead of horizontally on top it is vertically below everything), and links to images are broken, both WP media and NextGEN.

    Please post a new topic.

Why do we have to keep posting new topics for the same problems? this is just sad! #fail

To be fair when more than one person is experiencing the same (or even similar) issue, it makes more sense to collaborate together within a group rather than spread across a wide area. That way if a solution is found for one it may also help someone else with the same (or similar) issue.

I’m painfully aware of how temperamental wordpress is and how what seems to be an identical issue can be caused by almost an endless number of factors, but communication is the key to resolving any issue and therefore collaborating together, rather than separately, makes much more sense all round. It also makes it easier for people like myself searching for a solution to the same problem, if the possible solutions were contained within the one thread it would shave valuable hours, days, weeks and months (no joke!) off the time I’ve wasted trying to resolve it!

That said, I am having what sounds like the same issue as the others in this thread, however to save an inevitable rollickin’ I’ll start yet another thread if I’m not able to find a solution in the sea of other threads out there… :-/

For the record esmi, I mean no disrespect to you personally with this post. You’ve tried to help me before with other issues and your contributions are appreciated, I just feel what you posted was a little blunt and misguided… I’m aware of the guidelines put in place but to be honest a lot of them (such as the “post a new thread for every issue a single person or entity experiences” – and yes I’m paraphrasing there ;-p ) make life more difficult for a the majority of us “average” users… ??
